Alexandra Maria Lara has been a Romanian/German television and film actress for a long time. Alexandra is famous for her parts as a character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra Maria Lara was born as the sole son of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. In her early teens, Alexandra played the leading role in several dramas on television. Her critically acclaimed role in the made-for-television film Der Tunnel paved way for more notable roles like Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudl Junge in the commercially and critically profitable Oscar nominated historical war drama film Downfall. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are two other Oscar nominated films that feature the divas. Alexandra is involved in many notable projects, both nationally and internationally. They comprise British biographical film Control as well as The Dust of Time as in addition to the French historic miniseries Napoleon. Her other roles include being an official jury member for each of and the Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
